This is Christmas is simply about providing hope and some very practical help for children and families who are in need, and to do so in a generous and dignified approach.

This is Christmas is a program that has dramatically changed the lives of children in our local communities. Over the past few years, the program has been able to provide hundreds of Christmas gifts and winter clothing to children in our area. 

Families

Families with legitimate needs are sponsored. They are allowed to shop locally at selected stores to find exactly what they want for their family.

Volunteers

Volunteers help with assisting families for the shopping event, and fundraising throughout the year to make This is Christmas possible. 

Partners

Community businesses and partners make it possible for families in need to go shopping for toys and clothing at Christmas time.

ABOUT

This is Christmas is a program that works with schools, local agencies, health care facilities and churches to serve those in our community who are in most need of help. Many families slip through the cracks. These are the families we want to find and help. Last year we were able to help over 700 kids with legitimate needs have the Christmas of their dreams. SHOPPING

This program is designed to allow families and children in need to come and 'shop for free.'  The shopping event takes place on the second Saturday of December at a few local department stores in the community.  Parents are able to shop for what they think their kids would like. In addition to wrapping gifts, we provide an environment where parents can enjoy some festive snacks and find encouragement as well as support.
